Many of the current Parature customers face an important forward looking question about the future of Parature based business support applications. MERP Systems, a high pedigree technology consulting services organization has a compelling answer to this conundrum.

MERP developed a unique methodology to enable a seamless transition from Parature to target systems such as Zendesk, Dynamics CRM, and Salesforce. This approach is developed based on deep working experience and comprehensive architecture understanding of both Parature and the target systems.

Parature Migration Framework (PMF) provides a methodology, process guidance, and tooling for unified migration of Parature system to the desired target system.

Need help with migration planning and strategy?

MERP developed model has Assessment, Design, and Migration phases. Discovery or the gap analysis is conducted at the Assessment phase. This phase leverages our home grown tool to produce a heat map of the current deployment. Assessment outcome is a recommendations guide that will help our customers to establish a migration direction. A project plan and suggested cost estimation can be derived at this stage.

Design phase involves the heat map review and creation of roadmap for future deployment. Steps involve:

  • Based on the assessment report, analyze and review target system component requirements
  • Based on stakeholder interview/discussion design proposed future system Processes
  • Provide governance during the migration process

Iterative Migration phase employs the recommended Strategies resulting from the Design Process. MERP has devised a Staggered and Full-Throttle Approach based on the complexity of the current Parature deployment. A Segmentation strategy is required to establish a milestone based task implementation plan. Formulated strategies here include Per-Department or Per-Feature segmentation.

Once the implementation plan is finalized, the iterative migration activities are initiated. Breakdown activities involve Data Migration, Customization for forms, workflows, and plug-ins. Re-Build Integration is the next planned step. Subsequently, a portal development phase is initiated. The steps include developing target system schema entities such as forms, entity views, and enabling additional customization.

An important factor in the migration strategy is to help facilitate user adoption. MERP has created Parature like interface templates that can be integrated onto the target systems. These screen interfaces reduces the adoption resistance and promotes the use of other deployed assets within the target system.

This transformation initiative helps organizations to review and create governance strategies for future systems including operational support systems such as Knowledgebase and Helpdesk. An intuitive web interface that helps continue the Parature

experience for most customers can be driven by leveraging the strengths of the target system portal solutions.

In summary, MERP Systems has developed a complete solution package that helps transform the Parature System. In order to accomplish this, we combined a unique methodology and created a combo tool box that of consist an Assessment Heat Map Tool, a Data Migration Tool, and a Credentials Migration Tool. Our deep expertise in the source and target systems provides a risk neutral, efficient, and mature model for your organization’s Parature transformation.
