Privacy Policy  

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to explain how we safeguard the privacy of those who provide us with personal information either through the website or in other ways and to explain how one can view or change the information that we have collected.

MERP Systems and its affiliates are aware of consumer privacy concerns. This Privacy policy was developed to demonstrate our commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices.


Definition

A privacy policy is a statement or a legal document (in privacy law) that discloses some or all of the ways a party gathers, uses, discloses, and manages a customer or client's data. It fulfills a legal requirement to protect a customer or client's privacy.

    The organization reserves the right to make changes to this policy and continue to maintain the confidentiality of all information.

      General Principles

      1. Privacy practices
      • Contact information provided by visitors, such as names and email addresses, is used only to provide visitors with information about the company and to communicate directly with visitor about MERP Systems.
      • Any personal information provided to us by customers / clients, vendors, visitors, in no case will we sell, license, or transmit that information outside of MERP Systems and its affiliates for any reason, unless it is authorized by the information owners.
      • At times, we may request personal information from clients / customers and Vendors to deliver requested services to them, and respond to their questions, and we will use the information provided by clients / customers and Vendors for those purposes only.
      • MERP Systems and its affiliates may change this privacy policy at its discretion provided any such change shall be notified through an e-mail.
      • Confidential information received from clients may not be released for any other purpose than that which is identified in this notice.
      • Confidential information received from clients / Customers and Vendors may be released to public or law enforcement officials in the event of an investigation in which they are a victim of abuse, a crime or domestic violence.
      • Any confidential information received from clients / customers and vendors may be released only after receiving written authorization from the respective stakeholders.
      • Clients / customers and vendors have the right to possess a copy of this Privacy policy upon request. This copy can be in the form of an electronic transmission or on paper.
      • Organization will keep all information received from clients / customers or vendors for the service confidential.
      • The organization will notify clients / customers and vendors within 48 hours if the privacy of any “unsecured” information is breached. 
      • Clients / Customers and vendors have the right to complain to the organization if they believe their rights to privacy have been violated. If clients / customers or vendors feel that their privacy rights have been violated, they can contact in person or mail their complaint.
      • Reported incidents involving privacy breaches will be handled based on the roles and responsibilities defined by the organization.

      Exceptions

      Any exception to this policy shall be reviewed by Head of Human Resources.
